It appears whole, with the petals still gathered in imbricated cones, and has a fragrant, delicate, and very pleasant aroma. The flavor is astringent and slightly bitter.
The buds are widely used in cosmetics to make rose water and in food processing for flavoring compounds. They are used as a base for toners, lotions, eye drops, and eye drops, with moderate astringent and skin-purifying effects.
