Cleansing and washing the nose is a Hatha Yoga technique that consists of using a special container (the Neti Lota) and Himalayan pink salt.
USEFUL IN CASE OF:
- nasal mucus;
- various bacteria and microorganisms that infest the respiratory tract;
- sinusitis and rhinitis;
- cold;
- pollen allergies;
- blocked nose migraine.
HOW TO USE: Fill the Neti Pot with warm water enriched with 1 teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt. Once dissolved, insert the nozzle into one nostril and tilt your head so that the water can flow in and out of the other nostril. Breathe through your mouth to prevent the water from running down your throat. Now remove the Neti Pot and blow your nose to completely eliminate impurities, then repeat the same procedure in the other nostril. You may feel a slight tingling sensation, perhaps from an excessive amount of salt, which disappears quickly. You can perform the nasal rinse daily or several times a day in case of colds or allergies. If you feel the water running down your throat, it means your head or the Neti Pot is not positioned correctly, as the water must flow freely from one nostril to the other.
The color of the item varies depending on the availability of the manufacturing company.
