Folic acid, also known as vitamin B9, is a water-soluble vitamin important for various bodily functions, including DNA synthesis, DNA repair, and DNA methylation, the production of red blood cells, and the proper development of the fetal nervous system.
Folat-Gea already contains its bioactive form, 5-methyltetrahydrofolate, and therefore does not require conversion within the body and is highly recommended for those with MTHFR gene polymorphisms.
