It is made from Cellfood with added methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), an exogenous sulfur-based substance with pleiotropic action, the levels of which in our body can decrease due to reduced intake and/or increased consumption.
The MSM contained in Cellfood, thanks to its intrinsic ability to cross all biological barriers, enhanced by the colloidal properties of Cellfood, can easily diffuse through the blood to any organ and tissue. Its primary targets, however, are the skin, mucous membranes (especially those of the upper respiratory tract and intestines), and the musculoskeletal system as a whole (bones, cartilage, joints, muscles, tendons, etc.). In these areas, MSM functions as a valuable source of sulfur, ready to be used for the various metabolic functions related to this important element. As such or in the form of metabolic derivatives, MSM exerts a concerted physiological modulation of oxidative stress, inflammation, and the immune-allergic response. Furthermore, MSM appears to control, when elevated, the activity of mast cells, which are responsible for allergic processes. Finally, some evidence suggests that MSM plays a protective role against gastric mucosa exposed to alcohol damage.
Thanks to the addition of methylsulfonylmethane, it is a natural formulation capable of maintaining skin tone, texture, and elasticity, especially when affected by allergic or inflammatory processes.
