It promotes the functionality of the upper respiratory tract.
The plant ingredients are: Nettle, Blackcurrant, Licorice, Horseradish and Lactobacillus.
Nettle has a strong anti-inflammatory effect and is also widely used for allergic disorders; blackcurrant also has anti-inflammatory properties and acts by directly stimulating the adrenal cortex (cortisone-like action): its administration, in fact, increases blood cortisol concentrations despite not having the iatrogenic effects of corticosteroids.
Licorice, with its active ingredients such as glycyrrhizic acid, aspargine, and a steroid similar to ACTH and cortisone, makes this composition a powerful adrenal tonic (thereby inducing increased cortisone production) and is also a strong anti-asthmatic. Lactobacillus acidophilus protects and regenerates the intestinal bacterial flora, where, according to some, the infectious process begins.
The trace element manganese is also present (characteristic of the first allergic or arthritic Ménétrier diathesis) and is therefore useful in the following allergic conditions: migraine, urticaria, allergic rhinitis, Quincke's edema, allergic asthma and certain non-infected eczemas.
